What started out as a part-time interest has developed into an amazing late career. You wouldn’t expect there would be much call for swords in today’s high tech world, but swords are iconic, ageless and shaped the world we live in.

I have been fortunate enough to work on a number of film and TV productions from History and Discovery Channel to the BBC. I think via film you can show context and drama and inform and, hopefully, inspire many more people around the world.

I have always been a technical designer, enjoying the application of form and function in my work. Due to my experience in making this programme with the BBC, I have discovered the need for joy, dialogue and drama in design.

Sculpture is an important element in my work. I have studied with world renowned sculptor Andy Sinclair and combine sculptural design with hand casting in bronze and other metals.
